At Thornleigh Thunder FC, we believe that qualified, knowledgeable coaches are the cornerstone of a positive and successful football experience. Our Coaching Coordinator is here to guide you through the process of becoming a certified football coach and supporting your development every step of the way.
If you aspire to coach a team at Thornleigh Thunder, it is essential to obtain certification as a football coach during the season. This ensures all teams are led by competent coaches dedicated to player development, safety, and success on the field.
All coaches MUST meet the North West Sydney Football (NWSF) Association requirements for coach education. This includes attending a Face-to-Face Coach Education session, which equips you with valuable coaching strategies, techniques, and insights.
Each certification is valid for three years.
