Coach Education

Are you ready to take your coaching skills to the next level? At Thornleigh Thunder, we believe in the importance of qualified coaches leading our teams to success. As the Sports Coaching Coordinator, I’m here to guide you through the process of becoming a certified football coach with the Northern Suburbs Football (NWSF) Association.

Becoming a Football Coach with Thornleigh Thunder

If you aspire to coach a team for Thornleigh Thunder, it’s imperative to get certified as a football coach during the season. This ensures that our teams are led by knowledgeable and competent coaches who are dedicated to player development and success on the field.

Coach Certification Requirements

The NWSF Association mandates that all coaches must be qualified to lead their teams effectively. To meet this requirement, coaches must attend and complete a Face-to-Face Coach Education session offered by the association. These sessions provide valuable insights, techniques, and strategies to enhance your coaching abilities.

  • Each certification obtained through the Face-to-Face Coach Education sessions is valid for three years.
  • By attending these courses, coaches gain the essential knowledge and skills necessary to excel in coaching football teams.

Ready to Get Started?

Don’t wait any longer to pursue your coaching aspirations. Book yourself into one of the upcoming Face-to-Face Coach Education sessions with the NWSF Association and embark on a rewarding journey towards becoming a certified football coach.
